The Australian Bicycle Council is the national body that manages and coordinates implementation of The Australian National Cycling Strategy 2011-2016. This is the third cycling strategy to be sanctioned by Australian transport ministers as part of the Australian Transport Council.

The Australian National Preventive Health Agency (ANPHA) was established on 1 January 2011. ANPHA’s job is "to be the catalyst for strategic partnerships, including the provision of technical advice and assistance to all levels of government and in all sectors, to promote health and reduce health risk and inequalities". The ANPHA website contains information about the agency and its work.
